No, but upon request, we will supply you with a superbill of the physical therapy services so that you may obtain an out-of-network insurance reimbursement if your current plan has out-of-network benefits. This allows us to treat you without being restricted by insurance companies. We can also assist you with determining your out-of-network benefits from your insurance plan. You can also use your health savings account (HSA) or flex spending account (FSA) to pay for physical therapy services.
Generally, we will start off with a brief warm-up and mobility work based off of your goals followed by strengthening (lifting weights/performing exercises) and conditioning (sprints, high intensity interval training, cardio, etc). The exercises and drills I will put into your program are based off of your goals or your sport. While I do practice tough love and work to push you towards your goals, I will never force exercises on you that you do not want to do or try.

An evaluation is your first visit with me. For a strength and conditioning evaluation, this includes putting you through various fitness and movement assessments as well as establishing your goals so that I can make the best program possible for your unique needs. Without an evaluation, it would be difficult to provide you with an acceptable program.
A physical therapy evaluation is also your first visit with me where I get to learn more about your current injury and we then develop a plan to get you better. As your physical therapist, it is my goal to reduce your pain, find the root causes of your problem, and provide a plan that will address those root causes and prevent you from ever getting the injury again.
